What a little hidden gem! Graham was a wonderful host who cooked amazing meals and kept us laughing. The sauna and garden area were perfect for relaxation, although the lighting in the room could have been a bit brighter. Don't miss the breakfast. it's really something special! 😊

They gave us a neat and spacious room with an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. The staff were both nice and wonderful. The location was stunning - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go...
Sadly, but there was bad smell in some areas.

The warmth of the hospitality was
Really good. Graham. The quiet surroundings added to the charm, though the building shows its age. An enjoyable stay with amazing views of the mountains.

gorgeous views of Loch Stunart, unique communal dining experience, excellent dog-friendly policies
Facilities are in dire need of modernization!!! Hot water takes forever to reach rooms at the far end. Thin walls permit too much noise from neighboring rooms. The outdoor amenities certainly require better upkeep!!!

The culinary finds here are fantastic! Breakfast deserves a shout-out. Graham's cooking is fab with scrumptious options that make mornings good. Plus, the fine scenery, with hints of Loch Sunart peeking through, adds to the charm!
Now, the ferry hiccup was a proper nuisance, no denying that. The warm welcome and bountiful snacks from Graham made it all worth it. What a legend!

great hospitality but some room issues
The host, Graham, is great, providing personalized service. The breakfast selection was really good, offering generous portions and tasty options that set a positive tone for our day. The communal atmosphere fostered a sense of connection among guests. I appreciated the dog-friendly vibe, made traveling with pets much easier.
The room had a lingering stale smell, which detracted slightly from our comfort.

The dog-friendly atmosphere was a huge plus, and Graham's keen attention to customer service stood out, particularly his willingness to accommodate our late arrival. Breakfast was really good, with fresh, unlimited pancakes that delighted our mornings. The lighting in the room was less than ideal, and some amenities felt a bit quirky. The location, while charming, could be improved with better beach accessibility.
